Staff joined over 120 walkers on an organised walk to Garves Wind Farm, as part of Ballymoney Borough Council's Countryside Walks Programme 2009.

01/02/08 Construction work begins at Garves Wind Farm

We are delighted to announce that work to build the 5-turbine, 15MW wind farm near Ballymoney, County Antrim is now underway. Northern Irish firm Lagan Construction have been awarded the construction contract, while Vestas will supply the turbines. We expect the wind farm to begin generating safe, clean renewable electricity for the equivalent of 8,387 homes' annual usage in early 2009.
