14/06/2007 Planning permission granted for Pates Hill Wind Farm

Plans for a 7-turbine wind farm in West Lothian have now been approved. Your Energy's 14 MW project at Pates Hill will feature Vestas V-80 turbines measuring 107 to the tip of the blade and will generate sufficient electricity to meet the needs of up to 7,500 homes per year. Construction work is likely to get underway in the first half of 2009, with the wind farm becoming operational in late 2009 or early 2010.
